A little Off Topic I guess, but thought I'd share a recent Porsche inspired Bicycle purchase with y'all.. Field Cycles are a Custom Steel Cycle outfit based in Sheffield, owned by Matt "Harry" Harrison, and have been going for a few years. I bought my first Field [a Cyclocross rig] in 2013, whose colourway was inspired by a Singer 911, and have been hankering after a dedicated Roadie since.. So, with the advent of their Works edition "semi custom" line, I snapped up a Prototype [Disk Brakes, Thru Axles] and had the choice of any two Paint Colour Combo.. So I went with Slate Grey and Charcoal, but with a twist - Porsche Yellow Calipers.. More photos here http://fieldcycles.com/gallery |

Great looking bike, waiting for my new road bike to arrive, an Orro Gravel. Awaiting a frame in the right colour. I'd love a true custom bike, maybe next year. There are quite a few cyclists in TIPEC Paul Greer, Paul Mabley & Richard Hogg are three plus me. |

Nice, gloss, satin or matt? This is what I'm waiting for.
