Just got back from the Spa Classic, was a brilliant weekend......................so lucky with the weather!! Spa is my favorite circuit, certainly in Europe, if not the world. Lots of competitive racing, and to be honest some fast display laps too, which is pretty common to the majority of these events. For sure it's great to see all the iconic cars belting round a circuit, and who can blame an owner for keeping a few revs up his sleeve when most of the cars are worth several millions!!
Did get a couple of pics.

Another fantastic C&S and NW Tipec trip to the Classic has come to a close :( but its been just fantastic :) Thanks again everyone for a very memorable week :)

Photos to follow but here's my video from the dry Sunday track lap:

Tom appears at 4m30s with John Pye at 6m20s then team Tonkin at 10.30s. John Bidulph screams past at 12m40s and nearly has a coming together with another 911 at 12m58s but is shortly followed by the 930 Turbo of Mr Watson at 14m28s. Barry comes in right at the end :) Enjoy!

There's a link to the highest quality HD version I could muster at https://youtu.be/uZxTXlNayZg

I've now managed to get the very wet lap uploaded as well for comparison - its a very different lap

The car was great and I do like track days but a Tiptronic 968 is not really the one to do them in! I do fancy going back at some point for a proper go :D :D D:

In the interim, she did look good on track (even more so in the wet) as I've now been sent some photos - really chuffed with them :D :D :D
