If you'd ever thought of a nitrogen fill I guess this video will put an end to those thoughts for ever!

"...dry humping your leg..."

I managed a full 2 minutes and 45 seconds of this tripe. Don't waste your time watching the video.

I agree to an extent with the way the video is presented, but if you are able to cut through the cultural differences with the Aussies, the 10 points made are sound from a sientific standpoint when comparing Nitrogen with Air, which is 78% Nitrogen anyway. I'd still say if your interested in knowing whether you would have an advantage in filling your tyres with Nitrogen take a look at the video.
Incidentally both of my vehicles are filled with the stuff!

Started watching this and suffered from the same experience mentioned above and couldn't finish it - but then I saw a link to a 5th gear video on the side, watched that and it made more sense.

To summarise - theory is sound but the practice is bad, nitrogen filled tyre showed greater pressure change with temperature, identical cars with different tyre filling produced same lap times over 10 lap runs. Problem seems to be the tyres are not properly filled so there is too much moisture retained in the tyre and hence all the benefits of nitrogen fill are lost.
