Post subject:  Storage question

Hi Guys,

Loving my White Porsche Boxster 987.2 and I enjoyed meeting members at the Novello in August. Met many great people and had a fantastic evening. Missed September because of work commitments.
Sadly after just a few months of owning the car I'm forced to either sell it, or store it for maybe 6 months to a year until I figure out new work opportunities in the UK and I may be forced to work abroad for a year. I know it's no classic car and common sense would possibly dictate to just sell the car and move on, but I really like mine and not inclined to sell.
Sorry for the boring intro, I just thought i'd add some context. So I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place I could store my car, inside (or dry at least), not excessively expensive. I live in South West London (Richmond area)

Thanks :)

Tom

PS. Changing a light bulb in a Boxster is a pain in the arse

I was in the same predicament, a few years ago. I sold a car and regretted it ever since. The cost of storage and perhaps the odd seal and a service, -and perhaps in your case depreciation- might make it still better to keep rather than starting all over again with someone's haphazard maintenance schedule or various issues in another car in order to get the new-old car up to scratch and perhaps your exacting standards.

A mate sold his 3.2 carrera and also regretted it. He subsequently took revenge by purchasing a lot of various porsches, BUT... that one that got away.....

Kind regards,

Bert
