Nice car Jim. Mrs FarQue has a MK3.5 very similar to yours. It's quick rather than fast but a hoot when you get it out on some of the 'Dales roads. She loves it and won't consider letting me trade it in for a GT86.

Definitely cheaper to run. In two years ownership, Diane's has had a first and second service and a pair of wiper blades.

Great choice Jim. In 2007 we replaced Stef's BMW Z3 with a new MX5 2.0 and found it to be a better car. She was looking at a Boxter, but I just couldn't see the advantage of a Boxter over an MX5 so we didn't buy it. We recently replaced the MX5 with a new Merc SLK 250 AMG Sport...... and Stef's considering changing the Merc for the new MX5. It doesn't help that our son now has our old MX5 and she gets to be reminded every couple of weeks about what fun it is.

Enjoy it....
