Are any TIPEC folks going to this?

I've been utterly failing to attend any events this year, but this is my diary :)

Hey Chris, ain't seen you around these parts of late. Tatton's too far for us boohoo. We are, however, gonna be moving nearer to ya (watch out!) - Newark way. Dya know what region we could join when we get there?

Best wishes!

Eh up Wazzer! Good to hear from you :)

I must admit I don't really have time for mid week regional meets IRL, (most of my spare time goes here: http://www.infestuk.com/) but I do have a country pub all-types meet in Papplewick (between Mansfield and Nottingham) that I go to if the weather is nice on a fortnightly Wednesday in the summer. It's a proper pukka pub and about 200+ cars on a nice day. Everything from a Stratos to a military APC and enough German stuff for me :) http://www.griffinshead.co.uk/whats_on/

You're going to want to put these guys in your contact book for the porker service - Mike is the chief and James knows all about my '44 http://www.zentrum.co.uk/

I suspect you would be under South Yorks / North Notts, being in Newark. http://www.tipec.net/regions/south-york ... rth-notts/

If you get involved locally or want to try the Griffin's Head, give me a shout :D

Hey cheers, was wonderin' where I'd get servicing done. That pub looks good too. We might be too far though as we're the other side of Newark, nearer Boston if anything. It's not definite yet anyway so when we know we'll touch base with ya. Anyway, look after that '44 and stay safe! Cheers

Unfortunately the August show at Tatton has been seriously over-subscribed. They turned away 7 clubs. We have managed to secure a pitch for 10 cars a day (all booked up). Apologies that I didn't advertise it more widely, however I had to give Cheshire & Staffs members first shout.

No worries Dave that's quite understandable. Hopefully I'll see the cars and you guys & girls even if I have to park mine in the public car park :)

Fingers crossed for some sun!
