Hi All,

Looking for any new (or possibly exceptional condition used) 928 window rubbers you might have lying around.
Need for a respray.
Have you seen the price of them? I don't know how Porsche sleep at night :-)

Thanks
Regards
Paul

Hi Richard,
Thanks for that. I had a look, but still over £700 from them.
It really is stupid prices.
Guess I might have to bite the bullet, but wanted to try every option first!

Regards
Paul

Really daft thought but I seem to remember when Wheeler Dealers did the 928 they replaced the rear window rubbers and ended up cutting the old ones out, however the replacement new one did not look to pre-formed and I wondered if you could use a none Porsche window rubber from a similar type of fitting and cut to size. I realise you will have a join but I am sure this could be made to align if cut carefully or you could fit a chrome or plastic insert into the join to cover it up.

Have you tried car builder solutions. They do a range of standard window rubbers. May be somthing that you could use.http://www.cbsonline.co.uk/index.asp

Porscheshop do the window seals, scraper and rear 1/4 light I think the whole lot for both sides is less than £600 and you should get discount.
