Hi folks and greetings from new guy!

I am new here but have been into Porsches for 15+ years (it was 1997 when I bought my 1st Porsche, a 1978 924) and have been active in Porsche forums for 10+ years.

I have developed a range of plug and play VEMS ECU's for several Porsche models and offering these for sale, complete with tech support etc. The models that I have developed a fully working systems include: 911 3.2, 964, 993 (both VarioRam and non-VarioRam), 944, 944S, 944S2, 944 Turbo, 968. I have also a fully working calibrations for 944 2.5 16v Turbo (I have installed this engine in my personal 924 '83) and also all variations of 924 2.0 engines (including Turbo), but these engines require EFI to be installed first.

Default ECU kit include VEMS v3.8 ECU with all options enabled (knock-sensing, EGT input, etc), adapter harness and working calibration file so you can start driving and tuning. Strongly recommended options include WBo2 sensor (VEMS has built-in dual LSU4.2/LSU4.9 controller) and Bluetooth connectivity which enable to use VEMSdisplay Android app on your phone or table to view and/or log data (check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSmNUZbZGbE ).

Price for VEMS default kit is 950 euros, that includes shipping in EU.

Wes from this forum have done business with me and can assure that I am a straight up guy and always deliver what I promise. P.S. I have made many plug and play solutions for other cars, including Mercedes AMG 5.5 liter supercharged engine, BMW M3 engines (S50B32, S54B32 with electronic throttles and dual-VANOS), many Audis etc.

Some photos of my products, 951 kit and 968 kit (with optional coil-on-plug harness).

There's some photos and information on the 2.5 16v turbo build: http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=19926&start=45

And here's my race-car topic (that car runs also VEMS for years now): http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t ... &start=165

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I highly recommend Raceboy if you're thinking of fitting a standalone ECU.
VEMS is a very comprehensive solution with all the important features integrated.

You can safely say he's an expert with it and delivered my new unit fast and exactly when he said he would.
Hopefully I'll get a bit of time shortly to get my engine up and running.

Yeah, you can try to answer as many questions as you can but there will be always someone who either doesn't (want to?) understand or just likes to troll others. I am referring to the guy named blade7. Here's the thread I (and pauly) are referring: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche- ... 951-a.html

He edited his ofensive text away from his posts, but I can assure you that I am not giving harsh replies to anyone who just want more information. Besides, the information he asked was already present in original post.

Here's a customers dyno sheet from his 951 with VEMS PnP. Stock 951 with K26/8 turbo, 3bar FPR and aftermarket wastegate at 1.2 bar. Dynapack dyno, 306 whp, 308 wlb/ft.

How would this compare to say a Lindsey Racing chip set/3 bar FPR/DPWG running 1.2 bar ?

What do you mean by comparing? Afaik LR is just chips with remap, my offering is standalone ECU that completely replaces factory DME+KLR, meaning every feature of VEMS ecu is available at no extra cost (though some additional hardware might cost or needed to be specified upon ordering).
VEMS can easily control boost with optional solenoid and some other wastegate (factory is too weak to support more than 0.8 bars without modification), also pretty much any ignition system can be applied without major effort, including COP/CNP.

Your dyno printout doesn't give a whole lot more than a MAF kit. Add the COP and it will be a more modern solution.

Sorry, but what do I need to prove? Adding COP to stock engine does not add any performance.... Each can get familiar with VEMS ecu capabilities by downloading tuning software VEMStune from here: http://www.vems.hu/vt, load some default config and browse through features etc.

If dyno plot shows just basic chip capabilities, please provide some chipset manufacturer dyno and compare the curves, dips in curve etc.

Just as a reference, my personal 924 with 2.5 16v turbo engine made 470hp/530Nm at just 1.2 bars of boost, it is controlled by VEMS.

Sorry to hijak, but your 924 is a monster!! That must be about as close to a GTR motor as you can get by the looks of things?.. Very impressive.

I'm considering VEMS for my 951 for when the time comes to upgrade the turbo and ditch the AFM, so I'm watching this thread with interest.

If you mean the white one pictured above, it was built with 924 GTP in mind :) But I have my 931 track car that has 2liter engine that even has original 924 GTR intercooler core (but with custom end tanks). Controlled by VEMS :)
