It is after much hard thought and consideration I have decided the time is right to part with my Porsche 944.

The car is a 1986 Porsche 944 2.5 8V LUX in Kalahari with a full period factory bodykit (lower front bumper with fog lamps, box sills and rear valance as shown in the pictures).

There is a large folder of bills and receipts with a fully documented 134000 miles, the car was just fully serviced 2500 miles ago and has an MOT until September 2010. There is a Thatcham Category 1 immobiliser fitted with all the paperwork of the fitting needed for insurance purposes. The registration PXI 2105 is included within the sale.

The engine and transmission are both in excellent condition with many years of life left in them, the car runs at the correct temperature and with the correct oil pressure. The car has never over heated to my knowledge and has a very strong cooling system (Porsche 944s can be prone to cooling system failiures).

The interior in the original brown pinstripe fabric with original Porsche 944 mats and cassette player is in very good condition for it's age and the only amount of small minor wear is to the drivers seat bolster.

The exterior of the car is in excellent order and completely solid there are no rust issues, dents or scrapes on the car whatever has been needed over the years has been done. Included in this sale are the very rare and original 16" Fondmetal alloy wheels, I have not seen another Porsche with these wheels, they really complete the whole look of the car.

In summary this is the opportunity to own one of the best Porsche 944 LUX you will find as well as looking the part this car is currently used daily and has not missed a beat, it is incredibly reliable and will keep up (if not overtake) all the modern traffic.

Pixie, shame you are selling & really wrong time of the year. Some pictures will probably help though

To be honest, I don't really want to sell but after buying an MG project car which is costing a rather lot of money, I think Pixie will have to go (only if I can get the right amount of money though!)

I have now decided to keep the Porsche :D

Never really meant to end up with two cars but I'll be keeping the B I've bought too :)

Glad you have too.

Pixie, when you say Semi Sebring, I assume you have the bodykit etc. on it? If you need guidance on how to go about it, let me know (I'm currently finishing off my MGB Sebring replica (1979, so pretty much the same car as yours), and have fettled with a few MGBs along the way).
