The time has come when I must choose which cars I keep, because I can not possibly maintain 5 cars. I stumbled across the 924 Turbo that I now own, and have just recently finished repairing it to fully road worthy condition, so that car is the obvious choice to keep as I love it's quirkiness and rarity.

I have owned my 944 for 8 years and done nearly all the repairs myself. Most of the major problems affecting these cars have been repaired in my ownership. Asking for £3500 please.

SPECIFICATIONS:
• Manual 5-speed
• 2.5l 163bhp
• 166,000 miles
• “Square dash”
• “Cookie Cutter” 15”x7” wheels
• Alpine white exterior
• Brown pinstripe “tombstone” seats and door cards, beige carpets, black vinyl
• Removable electric sunroof
• Electric windows, door mirrors, tailgate release
• Power steering
• Front fog lights
• 12-months MOT from May 2019

SIGNIFICANT REPAIRS:
• Full service history. Paper documents until 2011, then comprehensive spreadsheet of servicing kept digitally from 2011 to present with supporting receipts.
• Last balance and timing belt changes: September 2016 – 161170 miles
• Last water pump and belt roller changes: July 2012 – 152500 miles
• Left sill replaced: May 2018
• Right sill repaired: February 2013
• Wheels refurbished: April 2016
• All brake calipers rebuilt: February 2015

UPGRADES:
• Direct wiring harness for headlights to restore full voltage at the bulbs, and massively improve night time vision. Saves dismantling entire wiring loom to repair the original!
• All 4 seats replaced with excellent condition replacements of same style, but with convenient split folding rear.
• Larger rear speakers installed, front speakers replaced, and under drivers’ seat subwoofer installed.
• Additional 12v accessory socket.

KNOWN ISSUES:
• Minor cracks on dashboard like nearly all early 944’s.
• Tiny tear on front passenger seat.
• Headlining distorted due to previous sunroof leaks (leaks now solved)
• Clutch rubber damper worn giving some driveline play, otherwise clutch functions perfectly, and brand new unused full clutch kit included (worth £500).
• Rear light cluster needs re-sealing. (New sealant kit included).
• Various tiny stone chips on paint observable on close inspection, slight variances in colour, minor corrosion on driver side lower front wing, rear wheel arch, rear window frame, windscreen frame.
• Voltmeter and clock not working.
• Interior blower fan works but can squeak.
