Post subject:  Any interest in my 987 Boxster 2.7 2005MY Silver- SOLD

Regretfully i'm probably going to part with my Silver Boxster 987 2.7 2005MY 6 speed manual. I have developed a lower back/hip problem which is aggravated by using a clutch. This is all the more annoying because i've just about got the car as i want it.
Registered in Feb 2005, this is one of the first 987's so benefits from the lower tax (£290). It's covered 49k miles from new and has a full service history, the last of which was a major service carried out at OPC Tonbridge. It has a black, full leather interior and was spec'd with the following options; Heated Seats, 18" Boxster S Wheels, Sports Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Wind Deflector, Windscreen Top Tint, Electronic Air Con, Sports Chrono Package, Sports Package, Sports Seats. The manual gearbox is the 6 speed (not the standard 5 speed). It has just gone through its MOT with no advisories (i'd have been disappointed if it had been any other way).
During my 2yr ownership i've replaced the front springs and top mounts, brakes and pads. A/C condenser, Low Tone Horn. O/S Front wheel arch liner and Hood Tension cable. I've also had 4x Bridgestone RE050A tyres which have done about 3000 miles so are virtually as new.
It's never driven over 3000rpm until the temperatures are reached and is garaged when not in use. It's a third car so pleasure use only.
The personal plate will be coming off it prior to sale and i'm looking at a price of £12,500 The car is in Westgate-on-Sea (near Margate), in Kent

I am now going to attempt to post images, but have never been very successful.

Stu either use Bretts link or download Irfanview which is a full picture editor. Then resize them to 640 x 480 or similar.
If you have a problem mail them to me & I'll resize & repost.

I need to correct an error in my first post, the last service was in fact a minor. I took the Boxster out for a spin to the Tonbridge OPC today for a health check and i'm pleased to say that it got a thumbs up.
As we are in the optimum part of the year for a soft top sell, I'm going to advertise it during the next week. I can't wait for my own health check results, which might fall at a less favourable selling time. I would really welcome any feedback you guys and girls may have about the car and best places to advertise?

Update

When I originally posted this, I was in quite a bit of physical pain and had convinced myself that my sports car owning days were drawing to a close. Happily that's not the case. I've always wanted a 911 and working on the basis that if I don't do it now, I'll probably be priced out of the market, I've bought a 996 C4S. So the Boxster is properly up for sale.

After taking advice, I've priced the Boxster at what I believe to be a realistic £11,250, a lot lower than I feel it's worth, but that's the way the mop flops. It's a great car, and if I could justify keeping it, I would. As always, I welcome any feedback. Thanks for looking.
