I've owned this car for 4 years, but now it's time for a change.

Guards Red
1990 H Reg
108,385 miles
Linen colour interior.
Black cloth roof with black tonneau.
Original D90 wheels.

Electric roof, ABS, power steering, electric mirrors, electric windows, pop-up headlights, alarm, immobiliser, CD player, electric seats.

Always garaged during my ownership. Never taken out on salty roads.

Below is a list of work carried out in the last 4 years :

Annual services, according to the book. The last 2 at Porsche main dealers OPC Tewkesbury. Inspection 2015 : http://video.citnow.com/vpRx1PzBz_1 Inspection 2016 : https://video.citnow.com/vtK71PFf2CN
Cam belts etc - twice.
Water pump.
Cam chain tensioner slipper (top and bottom).
Clutch.
Fuel pump.
Radiator.
Suspension - just completed work to convert to Bilsteins all round as original "new" parts are over 12 years old. Springs also replaced, along with front anti roll bar bushes. Full geometry setup booked in at Center Gravity 18th May 2016. This is the full day treatment to included corner weighting. They are reassuringly expensive! Those of you with sharp eyes will notice that the ride height is not even all the way round, but the geo work will resolve that.
Front bumper resprayed as it had gone pink.
Lower section of doors and wings resprayed to remove stone chips and replace tatty stoneguard paint.
Seats removed for recolouring. There were no cracks or rips, but this has taken care of 25 years of ground-in dirt.
Carpets deep cleaned.
New genuine Club Sport steering wheel. I still have the old one.
New perspex panel professionally installed.
Roof recoloured and waterproofed.
Gearbox oil changed.
Brake fluid changed.
Coolant changed.

Things that work that are often broken - digital clock, heater, odometer including trip reset, electric roof.

Cills are in great condition. I still use the original jacking points.

No cracks on the dashboard.

To the best of my knowledge, everything works - except the bulb under the bonnet that I only noticed tonight!

This ad is initially to gauge interest as it's not really ready for sale until the geo is done. That said, I'd be happy to negotiate a lower price if someone wants it before that work is done.

If you're looking for a concourse car, this isn't it. If you're looking for a well cared for example, in great condition, with all the maintenance up to date, then this is what I'm selling.

Asking price is £11,944. Strong money I know, but there are some awful examples for sale out there for not much less. In addition, my agreed insurance valuation was increased by 50% this year, reflecting their appreciating value.

I have another 80 or so photos if you want to see more. I will also take pictures of specific areas for a potential buyer.

Car is located in Tewkesbury, which is J9 off the M5. It's about halfway between Bristol and Birmingham

After spending the day with Chris at Centre Gravity, I've come to realise that the my 944 actually gives me everything that I want, so I'm withdrawing it from sale. To be honest, I was hoping to get enough to buy me a Gen1 Cayman S, but even if I managed to get my optimistic asking price, it would only buy me a dog.

Your price seemed fair to me looking at the condition and write up, but it sounds like a good call to me. Decent Caymen S's still seem to be near to 20 and they're at the age now where they have the potential to drain your wallet! You know where you are with the 944 to an extent now!.. It looks like a very nice car 8)
