Up for reluctant sale is my 1998 Porsche Boxster 2.5 in Zenith Blue.
It's a 5 speed manual car with grey leather seats and a blue roof.
Current mot runs until March next year.

It's had six owners from new and has covered 124,500 miles with service history, Porsche & specialist.
11 stamps in the book with some receipts, it has been serviced at JCT600 Porsche in Leeds up until 2007 and 80k miles.
3 more stamps after that from garages the last being March 2015 for an oil service and new plugs.

The paintwork is very nice, with the odd fine scratch and a couple of little parking dints to be expected at this age
but still looks good and turns heads most days. There is a scratch on the front bumper which has been touched in but is still visible
and the front bumper is a slightly different colour due to it being recorded as a Cat C in 2014.
This was just for a front bumper, one bumper mount and a cracked headlight! (I have pictures of the damage)
It was repaired and also had a new clutch and plastic rear window before being VIC checked March 2015.
The rear spoiler works fine and can also be raised/lowered using the button. It has the 17" twist alloys fitted from the factory.

The interior is good, with black Porsche over mats protecting the grey carpets and Grey electric comfort seats
in good condition bar the outer drivers bolsters, which could do with a bit of attention due to cracking.
All the electrics work well, windows drop correctly when opening the doors, mirrors adjust fine and heat
up for defrosting, remote door locking works from the fob or the key, etc (Valet key also present)
The stereo has been upgraded to a Sony unit with matching 6 cd changer in the frunk which all works correctly.
Digital climate controls are fine but it has stopped blowing cold in the last couple of weeks. This could be low gas
as the compressor still cuts in when the button is pressed. I will try and top up the gas this week if possible.
It is also fitted with the trip computer for mpg, range etc which works fine, and a wind deflector is also fitted.
The original tool kit, warning triangle and space saver are all present and correct.

The blue hood is in good condition with some minor marks and is totally leak free, also benefiting from
the recent replacement rear window. It works fine electrically raising and lowering as it should.

Engine and gearbox are good with no leaks or funny noises and the flat six makes a fantastic sound with the roof
down. It drives well has returned approx. 22mpg on local journeys and up to 35 on a run
while I have owned it. It does have the characteristic chain rattle for a couple of seconds when you start the engine
on a cold day but is fine after that.
The front tyres are Michelin PS3 with around 6mm tread and the rear are Nankangs!? and could do with being replaced.
It's available for viewing most days.

I'm looking for offers around £3250

It's interesting how the negative points in a car become retro and then liked :)
