Reluctant sale, after house move and loss of garage. My 924 owned by me since January 1992! Was put into storage in 2000, after having a job with company cars provided, could never bring myself to part with the car. Now with a change of circumstance, and loss of garage space, it's time to move her on. The car has been recomissioned, and I've started using it again to keep things ticking over. Bodywork is mint, after a full £3k glass out re spray, back in 2000, which included a new windscreen to remove the de lamination around the seams. Dash has a couple of cracks, as is common with this model, but few compared to similar of the year, due to the many years under cover in storage.
When the car was recomissioned , the belts were changed, all fluids, flushed and changed, and both rear brake cylinders were replaced. Since its been back in use, I've replaced the clutch all four tires, along with replacing the wheels with it's original refurbed 'spiderweb' turbo-style alloys.
