I am regrettably selling my Porsche 944 2.7

Had this car for over 4 years and loved every minute but it needs to go to a new home now. Was SORN for a while but I put it back on the road earlier this year with a view to refurbishing it. Moved house in the summer and that cancelled these plans!

It is mechanically sound and despite the high mileage (237050 miles) has been very well maintained though the years. There's an extensive history file from the previous owners - and I have maintained it myself in the time I've owned it with regular oil and filter changes and suchlike. Recently replaced ignition leads, distributor and plugs prior to the MoT (27 July 2015) as it was running a little rich. Also replaced the MAF with a spare I had. Emissions are very low again.

MoT passed with following advisories:

- Steering Column Universal Joint has slight play
- NSF brake pipe slightly corroded
- OSR wheel bearing has slight play
- OSF wing holed at bottom
- 3 tyres are noted as being cracked (no cords showing) and I'd expect all 4 tyres will require replacement in near future.

- PAS pump chatters at full lock, I will include a spare pump unit from a box of bits I have collected.

Bodywork requires attention:
Had extensive welding last year for MoT, with inner and outer sills replaced completely
RHS has some issues at the sill area which will require work to tidy up

- OSR rear wheel arch corroded and will require patching/repair
- Nosecone has a few stone chips
- Various small dents
- Couple of chips on sunroof edges
- Minor kerb damage to NSF wheel (928 option wheels, need a good polish and lacquer)
- Windscreen has two de lamination areas on the base (see pic) no leaks or cracks
- General wear and tear from a well used 26 year old car

Interior:
- Overall is in really good condition
- Dashboard is immaculate with none of the typical cracks that appear on this model
- Seat bolsters are firm, no cracks burns or tears.
- Electric sunroof works perfectly. Panel is removable
- Electric seats work without fault.
- Headlining has a temp repair around the sunroof aperture, requires a little attention

Original toolkit and Sunroof bag will be included in the sale.

I can send on more pics if required, I've tried to list all the issues and positive points honestly. Any questions please message.

In summary, It's a very high mileage car with tatty bodywork and a great interior. With a little work it could look very neat again and I really do not have the time to do this or else I'd keep it. It still has a lot of life in it and will continue to give pleasure to whoever buys it - a great project or a lucrative break up for selling as spares.
