Hi all
Finally buying a house and something has to give so sadly it will be my Porsche. I have owned her since 2009 and had many ups and downs with her! She has covered 150k miles and is a 1987 Turbo in Guards Red. I have used her to commute in and also she has done two track days and two trips to the Ring on all of which she behaved excellently.
The body work is fair for the age and polishes up however there are marks here and there and a couple of small dents. She is not perfect but is a good honest car with a lot of work done to her including:
recent Water Pump and Belts and Tensioners
Recent Koni Adjustable Sport Shocks all round
Roll Centre UK Rear Roll Bar fitted by Fusion Motorsport
Emerald K3 ECU running everything including boost control, MAP Sensor etc. There is a high and low boost button in the car as I was using her to commute. Also possible to have three utterly seperate maps on a dial switch which is installed although the maps aren't set up. There is a lot of potential to release with this set up should someone want to.
Recent rear CV Boots installed and joints re greased
Recent front discs and pads
New windscreen last year
Leather Seats (rears removed for the roll bar), there are the usual cracks in the dash board sadly.
Teardrop mirrors
Cup Wheels (17 inches, rear tyres now a bit low)
MOT un til January and currently taxed if it goes shortly ( I will need to sorn otherwise)
The sills were welded for the last MOT but they are not pretty and the front lower wheel arches need attention. It was on my list to do this year but that has been put aside now, I have factored this in to the price of the car though.
I have a folder of horridly expensive receiepts for her.
Also installed is a DAB radio with proper aerial that can stay with the car assuming the price isnt too low!
To allow for the sills to be done by someone I am looking for £2000 from a member of TIPEC - I would rather she went to someone who will take her on and carry on enjoying her that duke it out on eBay!
