Good news on both counts then, would have thought Newark :?: might be a bit closer than Grantham, suppose it depends what train he's catching :wink:


I dropped numerous hints about the advantages of Newark but apparently that added an hour onto his journey... well he'll be getting collected in the Golf and brought to mine to collect the Cabrio, so he still has a drive from Redbourne ahead of him either way.

Am a bit sad about the departure of the car now, but equally fired up for the improvements I can make by focusing on the '84. :D

'84 car, but specified in an '85 colour... which makes it more beige.
