Love the pics! They really capture the spirit of the event

Just want to say thanks to everyone for their company last weekend and to Travel Destinations for all the organisation (and clean loos/showers) :D

Kept my fingers crossed for good weather but I think I over did it 8)

I think we learnt a few lessons that will stand us in good stead for 2012 so put this in your diary now and start saving £5 a week in a tin to pay for the trip :D

Thanks for sharing those Jim. Really want to do that before too long. So much classic metal. Fantastic. The eco cars starting to become reliable. (After replacing everything. ) So it's a possibility now. Having blown the budget I want to get some fun out of it now. :D

Paul's on about a Euro trip next year too. May be an idea to tie in a joint trip (?).

Suggestions over the weekend were : Spa, Nurburgring, Stuttgart and Le Mans (I think!).

Le Mans would be good as a club trip for 2011.

I think our group decision was Modern LM is too many people & too chavvy an environment to interest us. However Spa has a 24 hour race not classics, but moderns. I found a possible Gite to hire that can sleep >23 & it around the same tie of the year as LMC.

I would be up for a trip and I agree re Le Mans. Spa has a number of great events and the surrounding countryside is beautiful: Group C is a good spectacle - http://www.groupcracing.com/. Another option is Le Circuit des Remparts in Angouleme which is also a great weekend. See some pics from last year here: http://www.forum-auto.com/automobile-pr ... et7493.htm
