I would like to thank, Mark-Geoff-Steve-Richard-Mike-Nick for all their help today standing on hot tarmac parking cars (which is not as easy at it looks).

Also Clive who sorts out all the trade stands and is my partner in crime over the weekend setting things up.

I won't say too much else I will leave it up to you guys to add you 2p worth on the weekend.

Thought the show was excellent (as usual :D ) Thanks to organisers who have spent a lot of their spare time to ensure we have a good day. We do appreciate the effort :wav:
The BBQ on Saturday was superb, good food and band.Very relaxed affair, those who didnt go missed a good night

I echo what Geoff said. Thanks to all who organised it, including Hayley & Jo because I know other halves are involved as well.
Great BBQ last night, great food music & atmosphere. Great show today with absolutely stunning cars. even the weather smiled on us!

Thanks to all involved in organising and running a brilliant weekend.

My family really enjoyed the party on saturday night, and it was good to take them to a purely social event.

Atmosphere running throughout party and the show was typically TIPEC - friendly, welcoming, informal.

Today's show was marvellous and my only criticism is that I wish it had lasted much longer! Tried to do as much as possible and chat to as many people as I could, but I still didn't get chance to watch any of the Porsche films in the cinema or take more than a cursory look at all the trade stands. Unfortunately missed Henry Firmin's talk as was helping on club stand, but would have been fascinated to listen to his advice and thought it was a great idea to have a different perspective on our cars.

Seemed less well-attended than last year? Were there any obvious competitive events or had people been put off by the misleading forecast for rain earlier in the week and made other plans? They missed a great show.

Congrats to Lindsay!

I had a good time, had a brief chat with a couple of people and remembered to do the 4x4 experience this time! Sadly I seemed to be the only person from Devon/Cornwall (unless there were some people from there who I've not met before) and I didn't bring a Porsche

Hopefully next year I'll bring my car and attend the party the night before if all goes well. It's a bit hard to tell who's from TIPEC and who isn't on the Sunday so didn't really meet anybody from here. Members TIPEC badges from now on ;)

I had a great time at the show today, so much I even rejoined/renewed :D

The weather did mis-lead people but certainly it was their loss as the sun shone for most of the day.
It did come across as a friendly show for which I applaud the whole organising team...
Also what a welcome to have a smiling chairman welcome people to the show as they entered (that was my experience at least)

I'm not sure what I expect from a show or even to see at a Porsche show, but catching up with old friends and new made the day a worthwhile trip...
Whether Gaydon has done its time I don't know.... At least they had the AM on display from the 007 film 'Die another Day' making it an added addition for me :D :bounce:

Today was another TIPEC success, nice to see so many friendly faces and so many fantastic cars, anyone see that 911 sportclassic in the car park ? I think many stayed away due to the weather issues. It was also a nice touch for the chairman to greet people as they arrived, and a big thank you for my surprise award, I'm sure that there are others more deserving.

You mean this one?

It was lovely, just a shame I couldn't get a picture of the interior; I tried and all I got was a reflection of the chap stood next to me.

Hi :)

Although I did not go (work) I must compliment EVERYONE who arranged and helped at Gaydon, all I have seen is compliments about the show, and to contrast this, that thread on Pistonheads about PCGB is all about complaints,,,, lol :)

So VERY well done to all and I will try and make it next year :)

All the best Brett :)
