As you already know we have a track day scheduled at Bruntingthorpe on Saturday 26th April and its only £100 for the day.
To make the day even better, Brian Rowledge has managed to get the support of Center Gravity - the suspension and chassis-tuning specialist. Chris Franklin the owner has a mission to “Provide an F1 Service to Enthusiasts”. In addition to this he carries out development work for companies such as Bilstein and Nitron Racing Shocks.
Following a meeting with Chris, he has agreed to be at Brunty to support all registered TIPEC drivers. Chris will offer three different services.
The first service has three parts. They are a tyre issues surgery; a handling issues surgery and a more advanced anti roll bar and damper settings surgery. There is no charge for this service.
Also, they have a data logging service. Your car is set up with an on board data logger to capture data such as track positioning, track speed, lateral g force, acceleration, deceleration, braking points and gear changes. There is a nominal charge of £15 inclusive for this service. Due to time constraints this can only be performed on 4 cars in the morning and 4 cars in the afternoon session. It is first come first served. Therefore, if you want this service send e-mail Brian at
MyMerak@aol.com The third service is a base check of your car using laser-guided technology. In other words how the car is actually set up now. This is important on cars such as a Porsche as it can significantly affect performance as well as wear and tear on components, especially tyres. This service comes with a report to the owner / driver. The charge is a very reasonable £30 inclusive. Due to time constraints this can only provide one base line measurement in the morning and one in the afternoon session. Again this is provided on a first come first served basis. If you want this service send e-mail to Brian at
MyMerak@aol.com Chris is a fanatical supporter of the Porsche marque and Central Region members speak passionately about his work and the way he transforms a Porsche by setting wheel geometry, then tuning its suspension and chassis. As expected he owns and drives a Porsche. He has a 1985 911 Carrera which is “hotter than normal”, what else!
If you want to know more about his work log onto

Brian and I will be there to welcome you.
