 Post subject: Porsche RWYB drag racing event Santa Pod April 17th

Guys,

I am looking to organise a Porsche RWYB drag racing event next year at Santa Pod in March/April. The idea is to get as many Porsche's there as possible.

I thought a 928 category would be nice and its a great chance to meet.
Brett has promised to bring his 928 s2 auto on steroids over.
The one with the full race 1000BHP nitrous system fitted.

A number of the 928uk have promised to bring their 928's too.
I am trying to get the likes of Jon Mitchell and Paul Anderson there

It would be an ideal opportunity to meet, greet and setttle any outstanding scores.
Trophies provided by TIPEC, Brett and myself.

Final date to be announced as soon as the Pod gets back to me.

I think your car falls firmly in the heavily modified class with Bullit 1000 stuttgart ponies Brett.

Hi Brett,

If you had said so before I set the date with the Pod.
A Sunday would have suited me better too but the only free Sundays are in May.
A busy time for our Club.

You realise the track is open till 9am?

I cannot do Saturdays at any time ....

April may well be very wet at the Pod, it may be better to consider May or June....

I also think you may cut down the numbers by doing Saturdays.... a lot of people like me HAVE to work on Saturdays unfortunately :( :(

Did you know that the Veyron can do a 1/4 in 10.2 @142 mph.....
