A plea to all you grizzled ROs out there... has anyone visited their OPC?? Our local is very receptive to us visiting however we want to get the format right. What have other regions done in the past?? A tour of the workshop and then the showroom, or something more involved?? All suggestions welcome... :D

Any regions that fancy driving down/up/across to join us would be welcome... Dates still not firmed up yet though it would be a Saturday. OPC in question is the one at Cribbs Causeway so your other half can go shopping at the same time - a day out for the family!!

I have visited our local OPC (we got an invite from the local PCGB RO). The format was just a look at the new models in the showroom and to meet some of the new members of staff. They also laid on a superb curry!

There has been another PCGB visit since, but unfortunately it was too short notice for me to attend. Both have been mid week evenings starting at about 6:30 until maybe 7:30 - 8:00pm.
There was talk of one of the later visits having a look around the workshop, but it didn't happen on the one which I attended.

We've visited Silverstone before and use our OPC as a meeting point for starting our adventures.

Mooch around the showroom, organise a walk through the workshops and maybe a talk through what they do on an inspection using a members car.

It might be worth asking them to put you on their list for open evenings and model launches.
