Although this event is posted on the forum already it just occurred to me that folk might think it's a Central region only event as it's posted in the regional area.

Apologies - but to clarify all are welcome provided they are a club member

Paul, many thanks for organising this, what a fantastic day :D . As my first 'track' experience I was a little unsure as to what to expect  . For all of you wondering about these, this was an informal, friendly affair, plenty of track time and as the course is quite tight you won't be thraping your car non-stop. By the end of the day (having explored the track in both directions  ) I really felt I had improved my judgement of the right lines, and how to power through the bends. It was great to swap thoughts with other Porsche drivers, and to see some lovely cars in action.

Top marks, and I eagerly anticipate the next one! :bounce:

You all looked to be having fun and there was definately plenty of track time.

Alex's 3.2 sounded really throaty and the noise bounced well off of the trees.

I hope you enjoyed it without me :(

Sorry Paul, but it really was a good call not to go - I would have had to cancel anyway.

Great day out - really enjoyed myself so thanks to everyone that came along and drove or spectated.

Weather was very kind to us 8) and we had a good bunch of "Mansells" along so it worked out well.

No timing gear was used as I think that encourages everyone to keep pushing for quicker times and most of the attendees were track day virgins. Those that were interested kept their own times :D the rest of us just drove for the sheer fun :thumbright:

Paul
