Post subject:  Annual Sprint Event - 2018

On Wednesday 13th June 2018 we have our annual Sprint day at Curborough near Lichfield, Staffs. We will run on the full circuit as this allows more speed to be built up from the start line.

For novices please note only one car will be on circuit at a time and there is plenty of run off so very unlikely to damage you or your car.

Circuit time will be 10am - 5pm with a forced one hour lunch break from 1-2pm

Arms and legs must be covered and helmets worn on track by drivers and passengers. Anyone going out on circuit will be required to sign disclaimers for the circuit and club. All drivers must attend a safety briefing at 9.30am or 1.30pm for Afternoon slots

There will be no noise limit on the cars.

For Drivers Breakfast butties and lunch will be provided within the cost and tea/coffee all day. Full day cost £70

Any passengers/2nd drivers must pay £12 for this catering deal or pay as they go from the caterer on the day.

Please note that as we have the circuit without marshalls there is a very tight limit on the number of cars we can have on the day. Whilst this means plenty of track time it also means if you sit on the fence you will miss out

Please get in touch with me via PM to book a slot and then send a cheque payable to "TIPEC Central" or pay by bank transfer.

I will give you bank details or address via PM.

Email to paulpsb928@yahoo.co.uk followed by payment reserves your slot.

I will add you to the list Pal but you're not first.

I would advise that over half the places for this event have already been taken

Great event and I have enjoyed it the last two years. Unfortunately I am no longer using a Porsche as a track car since the sad demise of Doris. I have moved on (not necessarily upwards, though) ;)

Signed up and paid up! Will make a nice change from Knockhill and will be good to meet owners and cars from other regions.
