Just got back from 2 days at the NEC.

A varied mix of classic cars from members of the local regions. All the cars were beautifully presented and are a credit to their owners. The stand was very busy from the minute the doors opened.
Always good to chat with members and fellow Porsche owners from all over country and beyond.

It was also nice to see Ian Coleman's 3.2 Coupe on the Meguairs Showcase, a worthy winner at Simply Porsche last June.

A big thank you and very well done  :notworthy:

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone that took part over the three days of the show and on set up. Thanks to all for turning out immaculate cars - in no particular order:
Lindsay Brown - 911 Supersport
Dave Watson - 914
Neil Smith - 996
Chris Harrison - Boxster
Sanjay Chouhan - 993
Paul Webster - 924s
David Large - 968

And the additional crew: Brian Rowledge, Paul Foster, Jarrod Mollison, Jo Smith, Sean Smallman and Jason Gibson.

Great weekend thanks :D

Paul

I thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks for the opportunity. I learned a lot about 968s too.

David

didn't get back until nearly 10 last night, although i did stop to grab a bite to eat and a cuppa on the way back.

As always, we had another great selection of well prepared cars on our stand.
A big thanks to everyone that played their part over the weekend, we can't do it without you :D

Many of those we spoke to will shortly be popping along to their local regions to say hello and see what we're all about. I'm sure they will be made to feel very welcome.

see you again next year

I know what a huge effort is involved in prep, set-up and three days on your feet fielding questions and gently discouraging baby buggies from getting near the paintwork!

Many thanks to everyone displaying their car and/or manning the stand, it was real highlight to come to the stand for a chat and see some stunning cars. Showed my club in fantastic light.

Just had this in an email from someone I spoke to on our stand at the show :-)

"Chris,
firstly thank you for spending a good amount of time with me at the Classic car show at the NEC talking about your Boxster and the mods you have made. I was really impressed with the TIPEC stand and all of the the other Porsche enthusiasts. So could you please pass on my thanks to all for their excellent stand, enthusiasm and information. "

Which has just nicley topped off what a great time I had being involved with the stand roll on next year :-) :bounce:
