Great choice for a tyre kicking session  A good team of technicians that understood the cars and were very gentle taking the screw out of Speedy.

I don't believe it! It looks like the lesser spotted Speedster, very rarely seen outside a Kentish garage?
Taking the screw out of Speedy, is this some secret code?

60 miles a year and still managed to pick up a screw in the front tyre.

I do forget how much that motor makes me smile, awesome burble from the air cooled flat 6. :)

The 993 was in for MOT last Friday, I found a nail head showing on a rear tyre on Thursday(why is it that this always happens on the newest tyres)! took the car into my local tyre guy and we gingerly pulled it out with me contemplating a pair of new rears !! turned out to be a tin- tack about 3mm long!! relief :P Your people look a good bunch :D

They were very good, a well organised family business.

Another club member had a new set of rears on his 4S, they found a screw in one of his fronts. Fortiunately it was just in the block and didn't need a repair. :)

Had similar, a few years ago in France with the Boxster. Driving along could hear click..click..click umm. Got back & did a health check at OPC Tonbridge. Screw visible in middle of newish Michelin PS. Left it there & took it to local tyre dealer. After two of us wresting it out it turned out to be around 4mm or so. But had worked its way into the tread block. Big audience awaiting hissing sound & guys pricing up a pair of rears for the Boxster. They were disappointed & I was relieved :D
