What a cracking stand the Central region has put together, well done guys the cars look fantastic.

I appreciate that TTIUWP, I will remedy that tomorrow.

Please come along and say hello and take the weight off in our soft seating area.

Carole & I enjoyed our weekend at the NEC. Today was very busy and time went very quickly.

We would both like to thank everyone who bought raffle tickets for the remote control car which we had donated. Many thanks also to John Brookes :albino: who helped sell tickets in the afternoon by letting children sit in the race car and have their photo taken.
All proceeds will be donated to our local hospice, St Giles. In all we raised £105.00   Thanks again everyone. The car was won by a young boy who collected his prize before the show ended, one very happy boy and a pound well spent by his dad.

Carole made sure we were well looked after by baking cakes which went down very well.

It was great to see some faces we haven't seen for some time. Roll on next year.

yes thanks to paul and brian for organising the stand and john brookes for the great help and supply of the racecar and stand furniture, also carole with the raffle was a nice touch, in fact the whole camaraderie on the stand over the weekend was very enjoyable and there were many laughs at nearly everyone on the stands expense which kept us all amused :D

It was great seeing everyone (and the cars which looked fantastic) on the stand.

On Sunday I had my younger son and his friend in tow - they said that TIPEC was miles better than any other stand for food and sweets! It was very generous of you.

Yes there was, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Over there there was
Half a Porsche,
Race car
356 and
GT2

and over here you could see
993
Race car
911 Turbo
911 Supersport
944
Boxster and
997.

The two stands complemented one another and it looked fantastic..................

What a fantastic 3 days, it was great to meet so many people who just wanted to talk Porsche.

A huge thanks to Paul and Brian for pulling everything together, John for the use of the van.

Also to Paul C, Paul K, Lindsay, Chris, Graham, Mark and Brian for putting their immaculate cars on display.

Carol's cakes went down a treat and well done with the raffle, the young lad who won the remote was really made up. It was also nice for the two clubs to be side by side with the members from both having a good natter and a wander around.

Patrick and the team from PCGB also did a great job, the 356 next to the GT2 must have made for some great photo's. What is a shame is that their stand is being criticised on the PCGB forum, unfairly IMHO.

Hi

Following on from Sean's posting :-

A big thankyou from Paul (away on business for a few days) and myself to everyone who helped us in the planning, sourcing of cars, materials procurement and setting up the show stand. This year was a monster effort which began in February if memory serves me correct.

Furthermore a big thankyou to everyone who helped us to manage such a fabulous stand during the show

Finally I think we managed to sign up between 30 and 40 new members at the show. Many more took away membership forms and hopefully some of them will also take the plunge and join the club. Therefore we should be seeing new names on the forum and new faces in the Regions throughout the U. K.

Some of the new members do not have Porsche cars yet and will be looking for assistance and guidance as that step into the world of Porsche
