Well done Gordon and the Southern Region for putting together a great event.

There was a lovely atmosphere, some nicely turned out cars from the Porsche stable and several from Blackpool filling the car park as well. It was nice to see the local TVR club supporting the day and enjoying the bbq.

It was also nice to see the local PCGB supporting the event, we can all learn from this as I'm sure there is a benefit from the local groups of both clubs getting together.

Steve did a great job on the griddle, you deserved that pint mate. If you are ever stuck for a job or the pension fund looks a bit light I'm always on the look out for a good cook.

Sorry I couldn't stay for the afternoon, but I needed to be in work this evening. Next year I'll make a weekend of it.

I think we made money on the burgers and hot dogs even at a quid each, I did the whole shopping thing and worked out portion prices as cheaply as i could, on top of getting my money back I wasnt bothered but we stall managed to put 30 quid back to club funds !
