Thanks everyone so much for coming! It was a pleasure having everyone, great mix of cars and good safe driving. Maybe next time we head to a bigger track!

As a fellow Porsche GT3 owner it was great seeing everyone pushing and driving the cars rather than polishing them and not moving them! :bounce: 8)

Also, some might have spotted the drone flying around - might be a small film coming starring everyone!

Convoyed in with FarQue Friday afternoon, great evening of food, drink and banter with fellow members. Nice day at the track and 2 3/4 hours drive back Saturday evening. Not exactly a gigantic commitment. I'm off to Cadwell Park this Monday for more of the same :D

I can only assume most of my Porsche owning fellow TIPEC members don't care to use their vehicles as sports cars.

Honda Jazz anyone?.......

I tend to use mine as a mobile cat hair ( on the roof ) Dog hair ( inside ) transport system.

But having attended Porsche on the Prom in a nice 8 car convoy, I managed 26mpg,
I didn't know a Porsche could attain such high figures, I usually average 17mpg.
Them Cheshire lads know how to dawdle along :)

Can I just say many thanks to TIPEC and it's members for organising such an enjoyable event.I thrashed my little 924 mercilessly from start to finish and used less than 50 quids of fuel including the 240 mile round trip to Blyton from Lancashire!

This event was well organised and was in a safe environment and thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish!.Well done everyone.

I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone that came along and helped make it a great day. Good to see that both novice and track day veterans enjoyed the day without any complaints about driving standards. Special thanks to North west region for attending in numbers! Also a big thanks to MOT and Blyton Park for the organisation, marshalling and venue.
This has to be the best way to explore the limits of your car in safety and without risking your licence - those that didn't attend missed a great event
Perhaps reading all the positive comments and noting that some members travelled considerable distances to be with us (thanks guys ) might tempt more to join us in future.

Obviously the Marcos guys were frightened off at the thought of a "head to head"

We will need to find a new partner for the next one :bounce:

Thanks all

Paul

Blyton attendees: I'll cobble a few words together about the trackday for the next issue of All Torque. I do need your pictures though. If you could email me your best picture of the day, with your name and region I'll try and get it into the mag. A simple quote summing up your experience would be really good as well.

Thanks in anticipation.

A few words and a few pictures (14 of 'em!) have been submitted to Mr All torque (aka Tony Blow, aka Poprock) for consideration for the next magazine. Mostly 'car' pictures but there's a few 'people' shots as well so we'll see what gets published. The young and easily offended may wish to look away when the issue drops on the mat...
