Hi Everybody

We have decided on the first weekend of September for our Tour the Snowdonia National Park.

It's a few years since we last did the trip and it's no surprise that the first four names to reply were on that trip.
It has some of the best driving roads in the country, both for the driver and the passenger.

We will depart on the Friday morning and will stop for lunch at the Telford Inn, next to Thomas Telford's wonderful Pontcysyllte aqueduct.

After lunch it's Just an hour to our destination of Betws-y-Coed, we will meet up in the evening for dinner and a drink or two in the bar.

Saturday's drive will depart mid morning and take in some of Snowdonia's best driving roads including the famous Evo Triangle.
After a hard afternoons driving, will will head back to Betws-y-Coed where you can grab a bite to eat or just wander around the town and surrounding countryside.
Another dinner and a good nights rest and you'll be recharged for a Sunday morning's drive that will end up at a Restaurant overlooking Lake Vytnwy for Sunday Lunch.

From here you are free to head home or take in some more of the Sights and maybe stay an extra night or two.
Portmeirion is around an hours drive and well worth a visit if you haven't been before

Please can you let me know if you would like to come along ASAP

Just a week to go and my car is still awaiting the new shocks to arrive :0(
It also has a leaking fuel tank :0( :0(

Never mind, I can borrow my step dad's Boxster with it's freshly fitted M030 suspension kit
BUT, it broke down yesterday

I'm sure it'll be alright on the night

Quick update on my car.

Well Gaz having assured us delivery within 3 weeks have now taken over 4 and shocks will arrive Monday !
F***ing brilliant, one of the main reasons was to have it done for the trip.

My fuel lead appears to be from the top of the tank and not the sender, so we have to remove tank, drop gearbox etc.
well if we have to drop the gearbox it would save me some labour on fitting a short shift kit (so we're doing that) also the clutch is starting to feel tired and have decided to do that too while we are there.

Oh and new fuel lines too as they are badly corroded and need doing (knew that when i got the car last year)

Pick it up on Thursday afternoon (where's that fingers crossed smiley)
