Is anyone going?

Me and a buddy in his 996 are meeting at the Throckmorton arms about 5 mins away at 10.15 if anyone wants to convoy in.

Cheers
Jay

I've got a pass for this show (it's a free weekend but Central doesn't have this show on calendar this year), but weather will decide whether to go on sunday or monday.

If anyone else is going please look out for my 928 (don't know how Ragley is organised for non-club entries but probably in 1990s sports car section or nearby) and come and have a chat!

The show is now fully booked for exhibitors according to Transtar site.

Although not officially attending, im told that central have a pitch. Im going to arrive and ask the marshalls if there is an area, if not im guessing that we will have to try and find the next best thing, im in a 1985 Red Carrera and my buddy in a 1999 Blue C2 with GT3 kit so im hoping there is a German Marques area.

Look out for us on Monday if you come. Forecast looks good now..

PS we are booked in.

Hi :)

Ragley Hall ...that name still brings shivers to my spine from the event that the "other" club TRIED to run there,,,,,, an absolute and total cock up to put it politely lol.... good luck anyway...

All the best Brett :)

Brett anyone attending should be fine - with the notable exception of that horrendous event you refer to, all other car events I've attended at Ragley have been problem-free!

What concerns me more now is the weather as Ragley has history of cancellations. Rain in area forecast sat and sun so I will be keeping an eye on the organiser's (Transtar) site for news.

Pleasant day at Ragley today (sunday) though thinnish turnout - I was able to drive straight in with no queue and there were big gaps in display space.

Was parked a couple of cars along from Lindsay Brown's old 944S, which is still racking up "best in show" awards under Frank Smith's ownership!

Forecast now looks fine for those planning to attend monday.

Great, I'm really looking forward to it!

Is anyone going to this or is it just me again?

We have 3 996's with GT3 kits going. Red, Yellow and Blue.

And once again I'll be there, but not sure if will attend on sunday or monday (I think pass covers both days but not home to check). It's on Central's calendar this year, so should be a few of us there!

I might go on Monday, but I have not registered - how should I proceed?

Hi David. I haven't registered either but I contacted them and they said it's too late to register but if you pay £10 per adult and they will let us park in the Tipec area. For the last two years me and my buddy were the only ones in it.

Thanks. I have just discovered there is a sprint at Blyton Park on Monday. I am now in two or three minds.
1) Should I try to get a late entry for the Radical?
2) Should I just go in the 968 or 289 to watch the sprint?
3) Should I go to Ragley Hall?

I was supposed to be sprinting in the Radical at Curborough on Sunday - I applied in April, but there was an administrative cock up, partly my fault, but not helped by the entry secretary and I find that I have no entry, I am 4th reserve, so that is irritating. It means I am unlikely to get a place so there is a big hole in my BH weekend.
My wife is going out to ladies lunch on Monday, so I have a day off.

Thanks for clarifying the Ragley position.

Well I haven't done anything about getting an entry for Blyton on Monday, I may still possibly get a place in the original Sunday event.

So Monday is now a choice between watching at Blyton or going to the Ragley show. The weather in the east of the country is much worse on Monday so Ragley is looking like the favourite.

Is the show good?

David
