I keep seeing posts on various forums about the lack of loos and facilities but am I the only person that ventured back over the cattle grid to the lake and the visitor centre :?: It had a cafe and proper toilets with no queues, I did think it was funny when walking past all those people in the queue that were only a couple of places further forward on the return ,It was a country park after all with some great walking trails and stuff to see as well as the cars :D

I too went to the campsite loos (another lot in addition to the ones at the Visitor centre). Not only no queue but much more pleasant than a portaloo :)

Hear, hear.

I wouldn't have taken my kids if it hadn't been by the country park. They spent all afternoon in there and had a brilliant time, and we actually had our picnic there by the lake. My wife missed this event but when I showed her the photos of the park she wanted to go back there!

Got there early enough to only queue for about 10 minutes - just long enough for it to be entertaining looking at the cars waiting to go in! I did sympathise with the cars which were backed up all the way from the event to the country park entrance a little later on. Also I only had to pay my entrance - would have been a bit steep paying for a car full of adults at £5 each considering we were essentially putting on the show by attending! Payment should be by car surely?

Hi, I had a great day....I did feel that the Porsche's should have had their own parking! I parked my sparkling 944 up next to another and a great looking 924 GTR so I was pleased but surely a discount for bringing the attraction? Like the guy in the Carerra GT did he have to pay, I hope not bringing an awesome car like that along!
