Got back at lunchtime from our Bristol region weekend in Poole, so I have a few thank-you's. First thanks to the Bristol group who supported the trip, we took 11 cars. It was good to meet with the Southern guys at PC World in Poole to drive to the event, thanks to Nick and Jim for the invite to do that. Poole, like so many places is full of lights so keeping together on the drive to the Quay was impossible. Thanks to the two locals who overtook us and led us through a few back streets to the Quay. Parking was a lot less formal than I expected and it's not likely anyone has a photo that does justice to the number of cars (123 I believe), I certainly don't so I won't try, lets just say there was something there for everyone. On Saturday we visited Beaulieu who made us very welcome. Special TIPEC signs were put up to guide us to our special parking area (see pic), discounted personalised tickets and a personal welcome by their events organiser. We even appeared on their web-site as one of the days attractions. We can also recomend Corkers restaurant on the Quay who organised a meal for us on Saturday night. I'm sure Sue will put together a piece for All Torque.

Really successful weekend with a few new faces integrated into the group. Hatton next!

Good to meet up and I'm glad you enjoyed your visit; we hope you plan another trip down this way. As you say Porsches on the Quay is a great spectacle that is almost impossible to capture with a camera, you have to be there.

:D
