Anyone travelling down on the Thursday?

We're staying sw of Le Mans on the Thursday night and staying for 4 nights or maybe longer, so will be getting a Thursday crossing at some sensible time .... :sleepy5: Not sure which ferry yet.

Anyone interested in a Track Day on the Monday, I know it's fairly short notice as Ferry's will already be booked, but I've just had this come into the office.

Abbeville, France 14th July (day after classic Le Mans)

£129 per car

Open pit lane

No noise limit.

Give me a shout if interested and I'll put you in touch.

Have just spent half this afternoon sorting electrics out on my other car

This prompted me to this afternoon's top tip

Remember to take with you all that is legally required in France for motoring.

Not sure what that is now but for starters will probably include first aid kit, spare bulbs, warning triangle and visibility vests

The French are getting very hot on drivers committing offences and need to prop up government and police funds, usually at the expense of the Brits.

Perhaps we shouldn't be so bolshy about EU memebrship and also snatching the 2012 Olympic bid from under their noses!

Don't forget a GB plate if you don't have one on the car.

Some good tips on Beer Mountain and Club Arnage... Also, the AA website has all the gen on the rules about driving in France. Just be v.v.wary about speeding on the autoroutes and N roads approaching Le Mans!!

Also don't forget copies of log book, mot, insurance etc.

We're travelling over this Saturday, will be in the Porsche car park over the weekend.

Can't wait!! I was sleeping in the car in Parking Bleu at the last one and the noise from Group 6 starting at 6am woke me up!!!

We are travelling over on Thurs night via Le Havre (4 x Porkers +1 Volvo) so should be down at the circuit by lunchtime. If anyone fancies meeting up, let me have your mobile no or give me a bell - 07884 116971 - and we can get together for a celebratory sherbet...

Look out for a TIPEC Gazebo in Maison Blanche!! :D
