Is the event also open to people who don't arrive in a Porsche? I've got some Porsche-less friends who would like to come along. I'm guessing they just park somewhere else on site?

Cheers,

Yes, but it will also cost more money

Hi Parking for the Porscheless attendees is at the main entrance car parks, Afraid to say, if your not in a Porsche then you must enter through the main entrance and pay the stated fee.
Please come along, you will be made to feel very welcome and join in the fun, take a look around the museum and have a wonderful day, also you can become a member of the club without having a Porsche, just a passion for the cars always goes down well.

This year club members are in for a treat, we are planning to give away a prize on the day, but you must be there at 3pm for a chance to win.

Membership prices are as follows:

1 year £40.00
2 Years £50.00

Membership fees are set to rise as from 1/1/16, so take advantage while you can
to Join, just look on http://www.TIPEC.net web page and apply for membership.

hope to see you there on the day

Hi Team,

Just yesterday I picked up my (old) brand new 997 GTS and can not wait to show it off :D 8)

I was reading on the website if you want to be grouped with club members you all have to arrive together. I don't know any of youclub members yet and thought this would be a great time to put some faces to all your online names. If people were up for it would you be interested in meeting somewhere in the area and all arriving in convoy.

(Apologies if this has already been discussed).

I wouldn't be able to join you the whole weekend, but I would defiantly want to join the convoy on Sunday morning.

Doubt there will be a convoy, not practicable with the number of cars involved, and limited space to park on roads outside the venue. I expect you may be able to link up with guys at say, Rownhams, which is a popular meet up point for this event,or one of the hotels where members will be staying, which will give a fair chance of getting into the venue together. I can see an exchange of telephone numbers coming up. Hope you enjoy the show.

yes I know, do you want to revisit that arrangement, I kinda remember quite a bit of consternation and concern at the time? I know it worked well for some though.

We are going to try to get to Rownham's in time.

My wife's with me in the 996, and my nephew and his little boy are coming along in her Boxster.

Weather looks good and we are all looking forward to it :D

Hi All :)

Apologies , but I wont be there as I discovered I was double booked and as the Wessex Car show is one I have done for years and was booked first last year and as its for charity, I will be going there...

Just out of interest, this Sunday are THREE major shows.... Simply Porsche , plus Wessex show , plus Wilton House.... I would imagine that spectators are going to be a bit thin on the ground :(

Apologies again...

All the best Brett :)
