I had a really enjoyable day today, chatting with members and friends :)

The stand looks great, Paul and the guys have done a cracking job. The cars look great, especially under the colourful LEDs.

Some may disagree but I think this is our most impactful display at the NEC. The framework with the lighting really sets us apart, many thanks Gary. :notworthy:

It's over for another year but I would like to extend a sincere thanks to everyone that helped out over the three days of the show and set up on Thursday.
I'm always amazed at how great the cars are presented for display and this year was no exception. Asking for volunteers willing to give up 3 days is always tough but it simply couldn't happen without them so in no particular order great thanks to:

Byron Humphries - 964
Lindsay Brown - 911 Supersport
Paul Webster - 924s
Paul Dunster - Boxster
Chris & Pete from Center Gravity - 911 Sprint car

and for their support manning the stand

Paul Foster
John Persaud
Brian Rowledge
Sean Smallman

Massive thanks to Gary Wiln , Glen and the team for the supply of the lighting rig and set up/ breakdown of same

and finally thanks to all the members old and new for the interest, chatter and banter that kept us going for three days. If I have forgotten anyone please forgive me but I'm dog tired.

Paul :D

A big well done to all, sounds like it was good show. Like the national show I eventually made it to this year, I will eventually get to this show too.

Hi Guys,
This is a rarity, me posting on the forum.
I think it was a great show, and the stand was brilliant. I discovered that red light was the best scratch and swirl remover in the world.
Being able to talk about cars for 3 days, with like minded people is my kind of heaven (yes, I suppose I had ought to get out more).
Thanks, Frenchy for the kind comments, I enjoyed our chat as well.

Paul.

Thanks Lindsay for posting the pics. We had a great 3 days at the show courtesy of Meguiars and they really looked after us well.

Friday went around the show on my own, something I have never done before .....& was amazed how the time seemed to fly by. Saturday Mandy came with me ... 2 old farts together viewing what we thought was everything until Sunday when Richard & his girlfriend Lauran came for the day & we looked at a totally different show ... the beauty of youth, they even thought Ford Sierra's were old!!!!

This is definitely a show with something for all age groups & well worth a visit for all those that have never been before.

Hopefully my Porsche promoted the club well, I did go the extra mile with extra spit & polish .... well it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be on the Meguiars showcase stand!!
