Does any one know what the two sets of steel brackets are between the radiator grille and the AC condenser fan are for? Mine have some M5 nuts loosely wound on as if some one removed something intending to put it back. I’ve looked at the parts list and the manual and not come up with any ideas yet.

What year of car?
I guess these maybe the brackets that hold the underbelly pan fixing to the later rubber lower spoiler?

Just a guess since I don't know what year and model

Cheers
Steve

My car has been front ended centuries back and the repairs were not always sympathetic, the headlight washers just chopped off and the reservoir blocked off. Was something else just omitted because the repairers had more of an eye on profit than quality?

File comment: Not the best photography but it’s a bit crowded. There is a second identical bracket to the right of the fan shroud.

Would any one mind posting a picture of how the bottom end of the three struts that hold the grill elements is arranged. Pictures in the manual and the parts list don’t help much. I am sure Porsche didn’t have them flapping in the breeze.
Thanks.

I think I’ve answered my own question. Some models seem to have an oil cooler bolted to the brackets. I don’t know what oil, but it doesn’t matter.
