Hi All, Apologies if this has been covered already. The accelerator pedal is sticky on my 1986 928 S2. Press it down and it stays in the same position and doesn't return. You need to pull it back up with your foot. I'm guessing that the cable is frayed in the sheath or corroded etc. Anyone else come across this and/or replaced the cable or removed cleaned it resolve it? TIA Kind Regards, Eoin |

Hi All, Forgot to follow up on this. Turned out to be the accelerator bracket assembly. Main pin was corroded. Disassembled and cleaned it, including bushings, lubricated it and the linkages and now no more sticking pedal, or pedal that won't return when pressed. Kind Regards, Eoin |
