Hi Guys

As the title says, I have the rad and fans out and I am starting the timing belt/ water pump job so the area is clear and it seems a good time to sort the air-con out. I currently have R12 in the system and I believe there are a couple of options available to me , I have read about a replacement gas that requires no removal of the existing R12 gas or oil, although I feel it may be a good time to replace all the seals and the dryer unit anyway ,Or I could change over to 134A which will involve removing all existing gas and oil from the system and fitting the green o rings ,Anyone have any advice on which way to go?

Many thanks Jezzy

I had my car switched from R12 to 134a by Richard Armstrong, Ritech. No new dryer required, just careful selection of correct oil and evacuation/regassing to go with new ports. Ruchard knows more about 928 aircon than anyone in the country, so suggest you take your car to Wiltshire for conversion, wherever you are in uk, after you finish TB job and gave everything buttoned up.

Richard explains what's involved on his Ritech Systems website
