Just read the comments on the 928UK ail list.
Seems most was made up for television and the worst points were not addressed.

Should you be 'lucky' enough to win the car, it needs new cills as a starting point for ownership :?

So I have never seen much written about bad sills on a 928. Is this something else I need to look out for on my 928?

It is a vulnerable area but it becomes problem if the splash shields have any gaps allowing crud to be thrown up there. You can get a good view of the area when you remove front wheel liners (but make sure to replace them properly!)

Just started watching this out of a morbid fascination to see what the fuss was about, and was amused to see them showing a Porsche 968 at 2 minutes 44 seconds into the program. Not a good start.

Oh dear seems like they did it again around 14 minutes and 50 seconds. I guess the person that put this together had never heard of a 928, yet alone a 968.

For a car that had a new paint job, it didn't look very shiny, almost like it wasn't the car they restored!

All the best,

RDO

Saw there was an old Chop Shop on quest last night where the muppets ripped up a 944 for David Ginola.

Next week they are going to fit a supercharger as they say it's too slow.
maybe they shouldn't use soo much plastic padding

It is always interesting to see how they 'tackle' such issues ;). The valuation seemed a bit ambitious! I see the dash came up with a few warnings upon it being put onto the rolling road.

Still, it was good to see Paul Anderson and Ben Dimitrieu of Faze1 make an appearance on the show :).
