Remove the intake. It's a few hours work but can kill two birds with one stone: Replace idle valve - sticky one can cause your symptoms. You can buy Lowe brand from Germany for about £45 if the Bosch price too rich. And/or can check all hoses around idle valve as old one can split, and again a vac leak there will cause your symptoms. Hi Adrian that's what I was thinking I would end up doing where do you suggest I get parts from for this job I presume I will need new gaskets And valve and maybe switch well I'm in there thanks terry |

Depends how much you decide to replace. When I did this job on my old S4 spent well over £1000 on parts, so obtained almost all from US to save cash. If the only rubber you want is intake gaskets just buy from OPC. Haunt eBay for bargains on other items (ISV, throttle switch, knock sensors is kind of a minimum intake job) |
