PHSportscars - Paul Higginson. J24a M1. 01332 799298
Porkaparts 07514 944 964 http://www.porkaparts.com

PHSportscars - Paul Higginson. J24a M1. 01332 799298.

Paul used to do a lot more than he does now, but he is sensibly priced and he has a properly equipped garage and a factory trained tech (+several more at the weekend).

Only 9 in the North West. I can't recommend James enough. He breaks loads of front engined Porsches and is always willing to talk about a reasonable reduction for TIPEC members.

Another good contact in the North West is FrazerPart - http://www.frazerpart.com/index.html, tel. +44 (0)151 644 6433 or +44 (0)7958 697 333 . Has 2nd spares for mostly 924/944 and can supply new and service parts for most models at competative prices.

This Guy is worth a try if you are local to Shipley,West Yorks. Has been very helpful to me over the last 12 months. Don't think he has a web site, but does use ebay. I find if you just give him a ring he will be able to help you out for 924,928 944,911 spares. He is called Bill and his mobile is 07814438734.

I nearly bought a 928 off PIE Performance last year, they had loads of pork for breaking. I'm sure they were in Norfork?

I have purchased parts twice from Douglas Valley and I have found their quality of service to be the best out of all the breakers I have dealt with so far. Bit confused why they get such a bad rep on the forum, but maybe they have realised they need to get their act together to keep customers or I am just fortunate I spoke to the right person when I first called?

I always deal directly with a guy called Graeme. He replies to my emails quickly, sends out plenty of images of each part before I purchase and when there was some damage to one of the threads on the first fuel rail they sent me, they apologised, had a replacement sent out and I received it the very next day.

Maybe not the cheapest, but prices weren't a rip off, plus they were the only people I found that had what I wanted in stock (the complete turbo fog lights especially seem very difficult to find in decent second hand condition).

I will probably get flamed by people that have had bad experiences dealing with them, but based on my own experience I can't really fault their service.

Dave.
