Hi

have any of you successfully managed to fit a child seat in the rear seats of a 944, when i say child seat i mean baby seat not the boosters? Is it even possible and safe?

It is difficult to get any child seats to fit the back of a 944 / 968.
I'm afraid I can't really help with baby seats as my son is now 4 1/2 and he is in a Britax HiLiner which is still not a perfect fit.
There are Porsche seats which are claimed to fit, but from what I was told they aren't perfect either and they are very expensive.
Your best bet is to find a local baby shop which sells a good range of car seats and has staff trained in fitting them. In Middlesbrough, we have a shop called H.W. Watts and they will bring different seats out and try them in your car and will advise which ones are the best fit and show you how to install them securely.

Someone like Recaro may do one which will fit.

Just been to mothercare and tried every baby seat they had and none of them fit in the back seats properly.

So I've bought the smallest one they had which does fit the front seat with the seat as far forward as it will go leaving some room ( but not much ) for mom.

Thanks
