whilst in at OPC for service asked for a quote for clutch replacement on 944S, £1083.38 just for parts, a further £440.46 for labour, that does inc vat tho'

I changed clutch assembly, rear main seal, clutch bolts, exhaust hardware/seals and spigot bearing. The parts came in easily below £500.
Are you sure it wasn't £1083. 38 for labour?

If you're a TiPEC member then you'll get 10% at least on the bits. Give John Hoskins a ring at OPC Tonbridge 01732 361222 I'm sure the price is better than that.
Aaron there will do a deal on labour as well.

Must be a good indy near you, If not at those rates its worth a trip to find one. The parts cost seems high.
The whole job should cost about a grand in my opinion.

Both Tonbridge & Exeter give 10% definitely! Maybe because it's Reading & HQ? In your area I'd go to Northway anyway.

porscheshop quote £640 + vat for clutch change, but 1 hour away, no local indies within 45 mins at least, whereas OPC is only 10 mins away so i use for servicing, they charge £75 an hour for labour on older cars
