had a fright last night, was working away down Bristol and rang the wife as usual , was her turn to drive the sister in law and her to the flower club, she got KATE out the garage and the oil light came on sat there five minutes talking about it and put her back in the garage, of course when she told me this i blew a fuse for not switching off immediately, did,nt go down to well for valentines night. anyway when i got home today went straight to the garage to check it out and it seems there,s an oil level float in the sump brings the alarm light on, just topped her up and she,s as good as new, phew! now to repair marital relations not so easy.

yeah i suppose i should be thankful for small mercies but she should have known better because about ten years ago she did almost the same thing in her new Fiat 126 bis, the oil light came on on the way to Lincoln so she turned around and drove back home! anyway i blew a gasket again and she got away with it again as it turned out to be a faulty pressure switch.
