Hi all,

Finally facing up to the fact that the S2 is not being driven enough and is a bit of an obstacle to me getting underway with my garage renovations, as I flat refuse to park her outside in the street, or even on the drive!

So, here's the advert: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/373150.htm

Any questions, gimme a call on 07866 513966. I want to see her go to a loving new home. Sorry some of the pictures are a bit crap!

No idea what next, but it'll prob be some sort of interim VW or similar that can put up with slumming it outside for a while. No rush to sell, but we'll see what comes of it.

Cheers,
George

You're going to regret it, with spring just around the corner a couple of coats of wax will see her fine whilst you sort the garage.

It's a bloody good car for the money.

Cheers mate,

Aye, can't help wondering whether I've under priced her, but hey, we'll see if anyone bites my arm off. Like I said, no rush.

Had toyed with the idea of leaving her outside, but the scrote factor around our place is just too high to take the risk, with her being so nice right now.

There's space on my drive for the old girl if you want to keep her safe whilst you do the works.

Cheers for the offer mate, but it's time for a change. She'll be coming a distinct second to gardening and DIY on the weekends for the foreseeable. The garage is a long term project too, plus my car tinkering needs can be met for the time being by the Lotus Elan Sprint I'm supposed to be keeping an eye on...

 My '44 is my daily drive & lives outside. I've had two previous cars vandalised. A Seicento! & a Peugot 106 rallye. For some reason cars on both sides of my '44 have been trashed. But not the '44. Youths just see it as an old car. It's usualy clean & shiney too. Think you may regret this. Considering the depreciation & insurance cost of interesting modern metal. The 3K I've spent on mine in the last 18mths is quite reasonable. Theres no better value than a '44 at the moment. Values will improve over the next few years as the dogs go to the grave.
Think about it! :)

mine doesn't get used much either but i've no intention of selling, after a sh*t day at work i just open the garage and stare at it for a few minutes and the world becomes a better place again !!
