Fitted some new pins to my hatch today. Took 2 minutes of WD40 and wiping the excess off. 3 minutes to unscrew the 4 screws (with a bit more wd40), 2 minutes to pop the old pins out (had to hacksaw one of them) 1 minute to fit new ones and about 10 minutes to get them set up right to release when required.

Really easy and NO NOISE (but now I can hear all the other noises)

Yep! Christmas festivities have been cruel on he hips (and the rest of the body) and the drivers seat sounds like a dodgy old mattress :lol:
apart from that a squeek somewhere behind the dash (nothing too major to sort though), but the stereo soon drowns that one out :wink:
