I had to tax my car late into the winter this year to use it for work As a result the tax ran out on new years eve and as it was a nice day and I had not ran the car for two weeks I took it out warmed it up and took the scenic route Lot of fun washed it down dried it off and tucked it up for the winter. I have a bug to build over the winter and then I will concentrate on my other project 924 turbo race car

These are old pic I took it to a local kart track to run in the engine Now its sat on 16 rims

I won a load of braided hose on Ebay so thats the next mod when I get round to it.
The car cost £250 off Ebay, totaly standard car with a broken stud some joker tryed to drill out and went in to the water jacket. Up to now I have spent £1100 to get it on the track. I carryed out all the work apart from the head repair. Its had a full rebuild on the motor, during which time the crank and rods were reworked and fly wheel lightened and balanced. I think another grand should see a race license suspention, tyres and comp pads to go raceing for real. The turbo means it will not be compedrtive in class but should be fun at Croft I think it will be the cheapest car on the grid..............may be next year???
My mate is looking out for an intercooler, He work in a srap yard so should be cheap a few pipes later and we will see how it gose
