It stopped raining eventualy. Had to cut the panels that hadn't been painted to get them to blend in. Just the hubs left & then I have to fix the speedo & the sunroof & it's nearly there! :)

Looking gorgeous JJ. I too like that rear bumper with the rubbing strip deleted - such a simple thing yet it really cleans up the rear. How many holes do you have to fill and what sort of size are they when the strip is removed?

Not planning on towing anything. Car has been transported once on a flatbed & the guy didn't have problems winching it on from the front.

Siggy. Move your clubnight to Sowerby Bridge! Can't face 3 hours driving on a weekday night. Sorry.

Rear spoiler has been repainted as it had a lump out of it. But the rest of the rear was how I bought it. Not a bad colour match. Need to repaint the wipers & the frame of the rear hatch. Some of the paint had delaquered. T cut them & waxed over & you can't see it!

Hi J J,

Car looks good, :)

Did you remove the front spoiler yourself ?, i have the same front end as yours and i need to take it off for a small repair as the front corner of one of the apertures is cracked and a proper repaint. Do you have a pic or a location of the fixtures to the body ?

cheers

Neither am I, but after putting mine in a ditch once, ( )I'd rather keep the hole for the towing eye or relocate it somewhere.

Here's mine. 1982 lux which is just getting back in to the daylight.
I'm lead to believe, it has been near to dark storage for nearly 15 years so it's getting a slow recovery and back into regular use. Won't be a daily driver but will be run over the country this summer.
