A huge cry for help here guys.

My 944 has not been used much in past 6 weeks as I now cycle to work, but when I got the good news a week ago that I had a garage to keep her in, moving my 944 the 50yards into it was a harder task than I thought.

It seems to backfire a few times when trying to turn over, then it will eventually fire and start idling but if you try and raise the rpm she just cuts out. Sometimes I can buld the revs very very gently but not all the time.

I know I have a very very small fuel leak asweel which needs sorting ASAP but does anyone know what I need to check to get here ticking over properly?

Sounds like the AFM air flow meter is stuck. Try whipping the air filter off & see if the "barn door" moves easily. Also seen this as water in petrol & possible low voltage from the battery.

If it hasn't moved in 6 weeks I would start with the battery. Mine goes flat in 7 days if not used. It has been very cold lately. Oil must be like treacle!
Lucky you with the garage! Heavy things to push '44s. Let us know what it was when shes running again :santa:
